TCPTUES55

Hey everyone,
I hope you guys are enjoying your week. I've had a pretty hectic few days, therefore I haven't been around to stamping. These next three weeks are going to be very busy for me it's the last three weeks of the semester and then final's so I probably won't be around to much, but summer vacation will come and I hope to be around a whole lot more.

So earlier today I decided to do some stamping. I was inspired by Jen del Muro's TCPTUES card, it's just absolutely darling, so I figured I would try something along those lines using the TCPTUES55 sketch (scroll down for the details to the sketch challenge). But here is the story, I had class at 6 and I started stamping around 4:30. I'm stamping, I'm coloring, I'm gluing, I'm adding finishing touches an I look up and it was 5:47 yikes, I was going to miss my class. It was just perfect timing to grab my backpack and hit the road. So I got lost in card making world, who doesn't lol. I got to class a little after 6 but thank goodness the teacher was latter than I was, lucky me, right lol. So yea that is my story about this card. I hope you guys like, I thought it came out pretty cute.

Oh on another note, I ordered the new Because of You stamp set from Verve Stamps and I just got it in the mail today, I was so excited but when I got the mail I was on my way out of town for the weekend so that made me a little sad, but I hope soon to play with the new set and show you some cards. Stay tuned.

Enjoy and Thanks for stopping by.

VSAPR4 AMYRS65 She's all that

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share with you all Verve Release Challenge 4 (VSAPR4). The last challenge was a color challenge and also if you did all four challenges you were able to enter into the Verve Release Week Champion.

So here is the color challenge swatch. I thought these were great colors and I knew exaclty what paper I was going to use because I had some DP that had all three colors, how perfect was that.

But my next challenge was what design was I going to use and what stamps and everything else. I had the paper but had no idea for the rest. So I started looking for sketch challenges and I came upon the AMRYS65 Sketch Challenge and I was able to creat this card.

Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy!!!!!

This next card I made using the sketch at the left, VSAPR3. Once again another great sketch, just love it!!!! They are all great sketches, thanks Julee!!!!! There were also lots of great ideas on Splitcoaststampers, don't forget to check them out.

I was mostly inspired by a card made by Kristina, her card was simple yet elegant and I just loved her color combo so I decided to do something along those lines.

So here is my card for VSAPR3 and tomorrow I will have the last challenge card.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!!!

Alright here is Verves Release Week Challenge 2 (VSAPR2). The Release Party is tonight 9pm Eastern Time so don't forget to get your challenges done and get them posted so that you too can be entered to win some great prizes.

Julee had another great sketch. Just love her sketch ideas they are always so beautiful and creative!! Thanks Julee for the great ideas!!!!!

Again I wanted to ink up some more of my new Verve Stamps so I again used Everlasting Life. I thought that the Cross would look good using this sketch, so here is what I came up with.

I just love this new paper by My Mind's Eye, such great colors and they are also great colors for a masculine card. Just love it!!! I'm starting to think that I should go by some more at my local Michaels.

So here is what I came up with. Enjoy and Thanks for stopping by!!!!!!

VSAPR1 Everlasting Life

The Verve Stamps is having a new release this Friday. I am so excited.

First I want to start off with the fact that I just got my first set of Verve stamps. I won scrapnextras 200,000 hit blog candy where her prize was the Fun with Floral Bundle. I was so excited, I wasn't even expecting it I just stopped by her site to see what the results were and there my name was. Wooohhhuuu!!! Lucky me, so I got in contact with her and the next thing I know the stamps were in my mail box, quicker than ever. I wasn't even thinking that the package was for me when I saw it in our box. I was so excited.

So I figured what a better opportunity to use my stamps than for Verves new release party challenges.

There are four challenges, the details to the projects are below. Here is the Sketch for the first project. Super cute layout, I had so many idea's for it, I might play with this layout later too.

To see more projects with this layout checkout this link: VSAPR1

Here is what I came up with. As I said I wanted to ink up my new stamps so I used the Everlasting Life set. Such a pretty set, I wish I could have used it for Easter, guess I'll have to save it for next year.

Enjoy and Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Mojo82

Hey everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your Easter weekend. I know I did except when it came to Easter Dinner at my parents house I became very sick and laid on the couch between running to the bathroom. I and some 20 other people who all attended the same 1st bday party and Easter festivities all came down with a nasty nasty flu bug. It was bad and it hit us all at different time. I've never seen anything like that but it was one nasty but and I hope none of you out there get it, it wasn't fun.

Enough about that, I decided today instead of doing some homework I would make a lil mojo so here is what I came up with. I think it is quite beautiful and exactly what I was thinking in my head, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as do.

The cala lily is popped up with pop dots in three layers to give it a little 3D look.

Wasn't to sure what I wanted to do but this is what I came up with. I've also been meaning to use the crochet flowers my mom made for me so here is my first attempt at adding them to a card.

I hope you guys enjoy, have a great day!!!

But anyways I hope you guys enjoy my card, I think it came out very nicely.

MOJO81

Hey everyone,

I hope you guys all had a great yesterday. Mine was alright other than the fact that the weather yesterday looked great except for a little breeze so I put on a cute sleeveless top, some jeans and a pair of ankle boots and I headed out the door, and to my surprise during class it began to pour and it pretty much hasn't stopped, so I got a little wet but I guess I didn't mind to much others at school were wearing shorts and flip flops so I think I was better off.

So to my card. I should have really been writing a paper, I did brainstorm a bit, but instead I decided to make a card and leave the paper for writing today since my class was canceled and I have all day to write it. So here it is, I gave Mojo Monday a try and I used Hippity Hop Sophia again. Enjoy and I hope you guys all have a great day!!

Spring break

Hey everyone,

I had an amazing weekend, it was absolutely wonderful!!!!! My boyfriend and I went down south to San Luis Obispo for the weekend. He went to school down there so he knew all the cool places to check out. We visited his school and some of his old friends, hit up the local shops and beaches, and then went on two tours at Hearts Castle, which was absolutely gorgeous!!! Yesterday the weather was awesome, it was warm and everyone was playing in the ocean and on the beaches, but sadly for us we had to go home, but before we left we were able to snap a million pictures and take advantage of the great weather. It was so much fun, we didn't want to leave. Here are some pictures from our weekend, and some time later this week I hope to share some Easter cards with you all. Enjoy!!!!

Hi there

Hey everyone,

Sorry no card today but I want to share with you some pictures of beautiful Monterey, California. And later this week I might share with you guys some more picture of the rest of my spring break. Enjoy!!!

The shore by the wading pools, see the starfish at the bottom of the picture, the little orange thing is a starfish. There were a lot of mussels, and sea urchins and little crabs too.

A white peacock at a fruit stand on the way back home from Monterey. Isn't it beautiful and unique.

Thanks for stopping by. Check in early next week for card pics and later this week for more vacation pics.
