Hey there,

Well with Christmas around the corner and my wedding 6 months away I figured it would be a great idea to make a Christmas Save the Date card, a two for one deal. I put a few of our favorite pictures together and and made one card for both events and some that were just Christmas cards.

Check them out!!

May your all have a Very Merry Christmas!!

Digital Christmas Card

Hello there,

I know it has been quite some time since I have posted anything but I have been busy with wedding planning and working but I did want to come on a share something a little different that I have been working. As you might remember I am in to Photography and lately I have been playing with Photoshop. So this Christmas I thought why not make my own Christmas Cards using Photoshop and pictures.

So here are a few takes on the card that I made for my in-laws. Enjoy

This last card was the card my mother-in-law chose. I hope you enjoyed, and will be back to see a few more that I made.

Big News!!!

Hi there!!,

Are you all ready for my big announcement?!!!...hmm, I'm wondering if I should leave you guys in suspense! Maybe just show you my card and have you guys guessing for a lil while and then come back with the big news and some pictures. Then again I think my card is a real tip off to what my big announcement is!! Plus I think I have made you wait enough since yesterday made three weeks when my big news happend and I guess I left you all in suspense with yesterdays post...

Ok, ok here is my card. My little announcement is just perfect for this InStyle Stamps image, I've been meaning to do this but I got a little overwhelmed with planning things and what not. So for my card I used Chloe and her Prince, such a cute image and so appropriate for todays announcement!! Do you think you know what it is?!!!

Check Chloe and her Prince out!!!

Photobucket

Yup you probably guessed correctly, I'M ENGAGED!!!! It's so exciting!!!! Lets just say it was no surprise that it was coming soon, given the fact that Daniel and I have been together for a good year and a half and we totally knew we were made for each other, it was only time that he would pop the question. Lets just say Daniel's family and my family go way back and I have been in love with him as far as I can remember (a little story here) so it's only perfect that some how fate brought us together!!! When was always the question! I definitely didn't expect it to be the night of my graduation. My graduation ceremony started at 8:30am and then after my ceremony and lunch with family, Daniel and I headed out on a late trip to Petaluma, for a picnic of oyesters and just some celebration time. I honestly didn't expect anything we had gone to Petaluma several times. We purchased oyesters and headed out to Tamales Bay State Park (some pics from my birthday last year), we had an hour to picnic and enjoy our time before the park closed. While we were there, there was only one other person there so we had the park to ourselves. We enjoyed every moment, munching on delicious oyesters, french bread and strawberries. lol not quite a meal but a delicious picnic!!! So while we were there the whole time Daniel kept saying that we should get a pic while the sun was setting, I was in no hurry, I didn't think the sun was going to disappear so quickly. I set up my tripod and I used my remote to take our picture, as the picture was being taking, Daniel got on one knee and proposed to me. Lets just say I was in shock!!! Of course I said yes but you can totally see in the picture that I was in shock. Now for the picture, well since I waited to long for the sun to set the picture is rather dark and I need to do some serious editing to it, but I have other pics.

Here are two pics. The first is the view that we had and the second is my sample take of where we were going to be standing when we took our picture and he just happend to propose. We stood right infront of that bench which looked over the bay. Beautiful sight!!! It couldn't have been any perfecter!!!

This picture here was taken a week after our engagment. I was actually doing an engagment session with my brother and his now wife, and I had to get our first pic as being engaged!!
Photobucket

This pic is from last Saturday the 5th. We were at my brothers wedding so I we took the opportunity to take a pic while we were both dressed up!!
Photobucket

Alright so there is my big announcement...Oh and you ask if I have set the date?? Yes it's for May 28, 2011. Hehe, I'm on top of it, we have the chuch, and the reception booked, the band is almost booked and we have a meeting with our Photographer on Tuesday. As for my dress I'm still looking, I actually looked yesterday and I found one that I liked, I still have yet to find the one I love but I definitely had fun with yesterdays dress, it was Flamenco style, it was supper cute but maybe a lil over the top for a wedding, I don't know we will see what happens. Oh and you ask the colors...the card tells you all and if you know me you know that my favorite colors are purple and green and I'm thinking silver or champagne. So there it is, I think! If you have any question or maybe you have a tip to help me with my dark picture let me know ;-)!!
