Happy Birthday...The perfect card

So of the three cards that I made this one was THE ONE. Absolutely perfect for my man's birthday, lol it's so him.

When we were younger before we knew that we were going to be together today, he used to help his family chop corn for my family, so when ever I knew they were over chopping I would jump on my quad and ride around looking for him and looking to see if I could catch his attention, silly me. So that's what the tractor is for and the pitch fork is supposed to symbol a rake because I remember specifically in, I think it was eighth grade, I got all dressed up, I think I was going somewhere but my mom says no, but I got dressed up and I pretended to go out and get the mail because he was outside my door on the big mountain of corn raking, it so again I wanted to catch his attention lol, and today I finally have it. I think its a funny story cause who would have ever guessed that we would be together today and happier than ever. Happy Birthday babe!!!

So here is the final card, enjoy!!!

Birthday #2

Hi there, so I said I was going to post my ideas up until my boyfriend's birthday tomorrow so here is my second card. This was really the third card that I made but I'm posting because the second card that I made was THE CARD, lol, the one just for him.

So here it is, it turned out nicely, I just wasn't to fond on the paper, I think maybe it's a little to much and it takes away from the image, but it's growing on me.

...So I'm currently at school, I had a 2 hour gap between classes and decided to hit up the lab instead of take the bus home and then come back, so i have class in 15 so I better head off so that I can get a seat before all the good ones are taken.

Enjoy and see you tomorrow with the final card.

Birthday #1

So my boyfriends birthday is on Saturday and I decided that I needed to cram out some cards. I had two options...well there are more if I included my cupcake and cake stamps but I wanted to get more personal with it and make the card just for him. My two options were to use Full Fluffles or Tractor Riley Moose. He loves cats but I know he doesn't do sweats, and then he is totally a country boy like I am a country girl, his family owns a chopping company and every year he comes to my family's farm and he chops our corn, so the tractor Riley would work for him too. I decided that I would make several cards using both stamps.

So I know he loves cats so here is the first one that I made. In the process of making it, he called me so he got to help me make the card. I asked him if he preferred chocolate or vanilla cake lol and he said he preferred vanilla cake with chocolate frosting so I did brown liquid appliqué for the frosting. Then I went on and asked him if he would rather have a cat and a cake or a moose and a tractor lol this really confused him, he had no idea what I was talking about but he ended up choosing the moose and the tractor. So here is the card that I had already started and until his birthday on Saturday I will show you the two other cards that I made.

AMYRS52 SWAK

So last night instead of catching up on some reading I decided that I would work on a Valentine's Day card for my boyfriend. I was inspired by a card made be Amy at Prairie Paper & Ink which also went with her sketch: AMYRS52.

It took quit a while to put this card together but it turned out real well and I think it's just the right one to send to him, Im super excited, it's just tooooo cute!!!! There is one thing that bothers me a bit and thats the upper right hand corner where there is a big white area, I'm debating weather I should leave it or if I should put a sentiment there. What do you think, should I leave it as is or add a sentiment????

Here it is, enjoy!!!!

TECC41 Sending you Love

Hey everyone, I hope everything is well. Everything is great here is Sac, I just had my first week of school and I think this one is going to be another good one!!! I'm excited but I have a feeling that this semester is not going to allow me much time to stamp so I will try my best. Sometimes I would totally rather be stamping than doing my homework which is totally what I am doing right now, I should be reading for all of my classes and staying on top of everything but that's not happening with Valentine's day come and my boyfriends birthday this Saturday. I still have to make cards, so here and there before this weekend and Valentine's day you will see some cards and I will probably be procrastinating with school, so while I'm posting I hope you are enjoying my creations. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!!!!

This card is a TECC challenge from a while back but I thought it would be perfect for Sending you love.
