InStyle Stamps Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop. This is my first time ever participating in a blog hop so I am super excited!!! InStyle Stamps has some awesome new images to share with you all. In order to see all of the new images you must visit each Design Team Members blog and leave comments on each of our blogs and at the end of the hop go to the InStyle Stamps Blog to vote on your favorite project, and then leave a comment on that post (not mine) answering the following question:

"What is your favorite fall treat?"

The design team member whose project gets the most votes will get a prize, and InStyle Stamps will also be giving away a Grand Prize to 1 lucky reader (winner will be randomly drawn from the comments on the ISS blog post).
The contest is open until 11:59pm EST Saturday, and the winners will be announced Sunday.

This months theme is Treats and the new image that I am introducing to you is Tea Society Cynthia. Isn't she cute!!! The little saying that I made up when creating with her was "Trick-or-Tea-Treats" and to go with that I made little tea bag holders so that I could give tea away as treats.

Take a look and Enjoy!!!!

All of my projects together.

ISS Tall & Thin Wednesday Challenge

Hey everyone,

I haven't lost my head because it's attached but I'm sure if it could happen I would be headless a majority of the time. As you all know I had a very sad and somewhat hectic weekend, and when I left my apartment I left in a hurry and I was carrying a lot of things. Well when I got back up to Sacramento Monday evening I pulled up to my apartment gate and I couldn't find my keys which have the clicker for the apartment gate. I always place my keys in my cup holder because they only contain Sacramento Apartment keys, so I don't need them any other time. So I searched my purse, I searched my trunk with all my stuff and no keys to be found. Eventually someone else was going in and opened the gate and I was able to get in. So I parked and searched some more but no where. So I ended up going to the office to get a spare key and make a copy so that's was how I got into my apartment. So I searched the inside of my apartment, but thinking logically, I would have locked the door so the keys would not be in the apartment but never the less I looked. I searched my bags, I searched my clothes, my purse again, my backpack which I didn't take, my desk, I checked my car, my trunk, under my seats, EVERYWHERE!!! I even went out to the dumpster last night to check, cause I threw some trash out but I was carrying to much to have dumped the trash out and gone to my car and left, so I don't think that was a possibility, that they got thrown in with the trash, I probably wasn't carrying them. My mom looked at our house but I'm not sure she looked thoroughly, plus I don't know why I would have removed them from my car they always stay in my cup holder since they don't get used unless I am in Sac. Never the less I CAN"T FIND MY KEYS and everything is just a mess and I am soooo out of it. HEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!

Enough of that, I thought I would share with you all a project I made. Over at InStyle Stamps Blog the Wednesday Challenge for today is to make a card/project that is "Tall and Thin" so I decided to go with a project and make a door hanger for a little girl. In my opinion I think it came out super cute and just perfect for a little girl who wants to keep her little brother out when she's playing with her girlfriends just like Emily and Irene are doing in this pic. LOL KEEP OUT little man!!!!

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day, and if you see my keys running around, please tell them their owner is looking for them!!!! ;-)

Hey there everyone,

That is always the hardest and most emotional time, but we will be all together to help each other get through this tough time. Most of my family is with in an hour driving distance from each other excetp a cousin who lives in Washington with her husband and two little boys and then one of my aunts lives in the Azores (Portugal) with her husband and two sons, daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren. My uncle and aunt have plans to catch a flight on Tuesday and arrive here on Wednesday and my cousin from Washington is coming down too so we will all be together.

As for now I just want to share with you all Week Three of the Digital-Ink Co. Challenge (D-IC003). Some Sad News

Sorry for being MIA, I made some cards for the Verve release party on Thursday but I was unable to post them and a lot has been happening around here.

I write to you to inform you of some recent bad news. My grandfather past away, at home, among family, yesterday afternoon at the age of 86. He would have been 87 on October 11th. He was very ill. He had a pacemaker, emphysema, alzheimers, parkinson's, and he was on Oxygen. We knew he was very ill and he had lived a long life but we did not expect it to happen as quickly as it did. I recieved a phone call Saturday morning from my brother telling me that if I wanted to see our grandfather alive I needed to make the two hour drive to my grandparents house. They were unsure of how much longer he had. Then a little later as I was traveling, I recieve another call saying that he had passed. No one expected that it would be as quick as it happened. Never the less the family who was near his bedside said it was very peaceful and he just closed his eyes and was taken to a better place.

So this weekend I have spent my time with family and with my grandmother. We do not know when the services are going to be held but we believe sometime later this week, we will know for sure tomorrow morning.

If I am not around this week this is the reason why aswell as the fact that I will be trying to catch up with classes that I may need to miss to attend the services.

He was blessed with long life and a big, supportive family. May avo(gpa) Borges rest in peace and watch over us.

Hey there,

Are you ready for Over the Hump Day? We're half way through the week AND half way through the month, so InStyle Stamps is celebrating with a little candy.

This month we are giving away 3 custom cd cases that contain 5 Journal Cynthia images printed on Neenah paper for you to color and a CD filled with InStyle Stamps Non-Anime Images. That's over 80 images, absolutely free...just for creating a project!!! How great is that!?! Be sure to pop on over to the InStyle Stamps blog for all the details on how you can be entered to win.

On another note today, over at Club Anime we are launching our new images and kit for October. The kit is super cute and it includes some great paper and ribbons, you just have to have them, I know I did!!! We are also launching our new images for October and they are definitely a must have too. They are sooo cute!!!

I got to play with the new image called CC, isn't she cute. She makes me want to go find some monkey bars at some local school and play on them. I loved the monkey bars as a child, I was always playing on them. This image really makes me want to go find some ;-D lol. I paired CC up with some of the paper and ribbon from the October Kit, and then I added some pink rhinestones, that I had, and I typed up a sentiment, "Let's hang out!!!", lol I thought that was pretty clever.

Check it out, CC definitely knows how to have fun on the monkey bars!!! Enjoy!!!!
