Mother's Day Cards

Some Mother's Day cards that I also made this past weekend. I have yet to make one that I will send to my mother. So far the last one has my vote for being mailed off, but I plan to make some more samples to see if I can make a prettier one. All of these cards used the SU Embrace Life stamp set. In my opinion cards made with this set should use watercolor which I still have yet to purchase. For the card below, I tried to make the watercolor effect with copics but in my opinion it didn't come out very well.

Anniversary Cards

Here are some more cards that I made this weekend, these with an Anniversary theme, because this Wednesday is my parents 31st anniversary. Enjoy!!!

Birthday Cards

Finally got some time to play with my stamps and make some cards. I had a list of cards that I needed to make, I've had this list for a while now but I never got to it because of midterms and tests after tests and in two weeks we have finals so I'll be busy studying again so I knew that I had to use this weekend to get all my cards done. So I got a lot accomplished this week. So here are some of the birthday cards that I got done this weekend.

Here is the website for the template for this pretty cupcake card.

Latest Cards

Just got the Sealed with a Kiss stamp set by Paper Pretties, absolutely love it!!!! It is the perfect stamp for valentines day, anniversary's, or just to show your other half that you love them. It's so cute!!! It comes with several other stamps and sayings which i will have to use soon. Can't wait to play with it some more. This first card is almost the exact replica of the card that Jillian Winters, a paper pretties designer, made and I just love her ideas so much that I had to make it. The second card is also a copy other than the fact that i changed the color and a few other things. It is by Joanna Basille who is also a paper pretties designer. The third card is a dry embossed card. I wish I could come up with some other ways to play with it but I'm sure i will soon find those ways with the help of Jillian who has such great ideas and who I purchase the embossing plate from. She's a wonderful instructure, I couldn't ask for anyone better!!!!

Chalkboard Cards

Another stamp from the "She's All That" SU stamp set. Again just playing with ideas some better than others, the main thing was to practice the chalk boarding technique.

Kind of a weird color combo for a baby but I did the dark blue chalk first so I had to try to get matching colors and thats what I came up with. Not my best choices.

Birthday card using the chalk boarding technique. It's a little smeared but hopefully with a little practice, my cards won't get smeared anymore

More Ideas

Just playing with some more idea's, let me know what you think.

I just love these two cards (above) they are so cute and great for baby showers, or just a congrats for the parents. They are sooo cute!!!! The little boys overalls are a little messed up, I went to use my blinder pen to remove some of the color and it decided to smear everything together which made me very disappointed, but it still turned out pretty well. I just love the little outfits!!!

The card above can be used as a bridal shower or wedding card, just change the color to match the shower or wedding, also after thinking about making the silver rings I remembered that most wedding rings are gold so that can also be another change.

The two above can be used as valentines cards, thinking of you, missing you or just a friends card, the sentiment can be added, removed, or changed, the great thing about making your own cards!!

(above) Just playing with an idea, I it turned out very elegant perfect for any occasion.
