Halloween Cards

My next project was making halloween cards. Some of the stamps included were those from the Micheal's $1 bin and most of the cards included the embossing technique with embossing powder and a heat setting tool. The trees were bought at Michaels and by Inkadinkado, the bat punch is from Martha Stewart and the moon was just a circle punch by Marvy Uchida.

The spider web ribbon included in this next card is ribbon tape by Martha Stewart. The "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" sentiment featured in the two next cards is by A Muse Artstamps.

This spider was bought at the Paper Garden and made by savvy stamps. The spider web paper is by Making Memories.

Here is a picture of the stamps I used along with the other Halloween stamps that I have yet to ink up!!

Most Recent B-day Cards

Using the same stamp set by Savy Stamps as well as a "Happy Birthday" saying from the Michaels $1 acrylic stamp bin, here are my most recent stamps.

This card includes the Acrylic "Happy Birthday" sentiment from Michaels

This card contains the paper piercing technique, the cupcake form matches the background paper.

First Birthday Card

Alright so this was the next stamp set that i bought. Its a set by Savvy Stamps, and it perfect for making all sorts of different birthday cards, cause its a stamp set. Her it is:

Now here are the first cards that I made with this set:

For the card below I used the Paper Piecing Technique. I stamped the cupcake on velum cut it out and then pasted it on the card as the cupcake bottom. Its really easy and you can do it with any stamp for example if you have a stamp of a girl you can paper piece her clothing. I'll show that technique later.

My First Cards

So these are pictures of my first attempt at cards. These simple Thank You cards that I made for friends and family after my birthday are what got me all into making cards. I used what I had at home, bought the "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you" at Michaels and some of the other stamps at my favorite store "The Paper Garden." Stickers were also involved in some as well as Stickles Glitter. It was all I had at that time. Now I have become a stamp, ribbon, ink, glitter etc. addict. I already was a paper addict because I was a scrapbooker, at least thats what I called myself when I had only really done like three scrapbook pages, the books are all still waiting for me to finish them. But now I can really call my self a stamper/card maker, no lie. Since these simple cards, Ive made everything.
